Once your products arrive, I'll either reach out to schedule a time to hand-deliver them to you personally (local clients only), or have them shipped to you directly from the lab. It's one of my favorite moments! If you ordered digitals only, you'll get a download link as soon as your images are edited and ready.

STEP 4: THE BIG REVEAL

I'll arrive 30 to 60 minutes early to set up lighting and backdrops, so everything's ready when you are. Just show up about 15 minutes before we start so we can do any last-minute wardrobe touches together. From there, I'll guide you through poses and expressions that are easy to follow and genuinely flattering. My goal is for you to feel relaxed, look amazing, and enjoy every minute.

As we shoot, we'll fine-tune poses and lighting throughout the session to ensure that what I'm capturing is exactly the vision you had in mind.

Right after your session, we'll sit down and look through your images together so you can choose your favorites. We'll also schedule your Image Reveal & Ordering session. Plan for about an hour for this part.

STEP 3: SESSION DAY, THE FUN PART

Once your session is booked, I'll send you my Portrait Session Preparation Guide, packed with simple tips to help you look and feel your best. I don't provide hair and makeup services myself, but I highly recommend booking a pro before your session. It makes a wonderful difference and helps you feel confident and camera-ready.

STEP 2: GETTING YOU READY

It all starts with a brief discovery call where we'll discuss your vision for the session, how you'll want to enjoy your new images, what you want them to say about you and your family, and how I can help you bring your vision to life.

We'll then schedule a more detailed in-person or virtual consultation where I'll walk you through the session experience, show samples of the print products available for purchase, discuss your budget and my pricing options, and possible locations and wardrobe ideas for your session.

If you choose to move forward, we'll pick your session date, time, and location, and you'll lock it in by paying your session fee via credit card over the phone.
